Stuck between a rock & a hard place

So DH and I would really love a baby to start our family together. I'd love it to happen so much and like now.

However recently I feel like maybe we should hold off and really build our foundation as a couple first. Rebuild our unity, become stronger as one and be friends again.

So my dilemma is that I don't know what to do. Do I pause on something I want so bad & is proving difficult to happen so that I focus on my marriage or do I go ahead with trying as I'll never know how long it'll take and we can work on the marriage simultaneously?
