How is your first prenatal appointment ?

Is it a lot of paper work does ask a lot of hard questions because I'm 18 and I wouldn't know to answers some things because I haven't told my mom or anyone but my bf, and also would they let my bf in for my 1st ultrasound. ?

Answer

They will ask for some past medical history from both sides of the family, and you will have to fill out some paperwork but I didn't think it was too bad. You probably won't have your first ultrasound till the end of your first trimester and they should let your boyfriend in with you as long as your comfortable with it. AND just a heads up if you haven't had a Pap smear yet they might do one along with a cervix check just to make sure everything is going well! As for the family..... I found with my family as long as I was super excited about it that was their reaction as well..... I was super worried as to what they would think and I'm 21 and married.  Hope some of this helps a little! Congrats and good luck! ?
