HEADACHE SUFFERERS!?

Question

Just wondering how often is safe to take Tylenol (acetominophine). I suffered from headaches for a long time and the last few weeks have not been any different! I have tried to just take one pill when I have a headache which has worked but it 2-3 times a week okay? Online it says up to 4000 mg a day! Just a worried first time prego!

Plain (not extra strength) is fine. I would take one at a time and not over do it with every day use. Good luck!

Tylenol is fine... But just make sure there are no other changes you can make in general. My first pregnancy I used to get KILLER headaches - I was told to drink more water, and I also made sure to get more sleep and eat regularly and once I was well hydrated and well rested my headaches completely stopped...

This pregnancy I was dying from headaches until I got more sleep... As safe as Tylenol is - and if you need it you need it - I personally don't like meds of any kind unless last resort.

I'm not sure what Tylenol is sorry but here in UK you are allowed to use paracetamol as it doesn't cross the placental barriers so maybe if you have that to you that and also have a nice shower with the shower on high power to massage your head that' helps with mine

I think it's fine I have chronic migraines as well and my dr prescribed me tylenol with codine

You can take up to 4000 a day. Doctor said so. I take 3 at a time only 2 times a day though. I have headaches everyday, doesn't help that I must sleep weird because my neck has been messed up and sore.

I can't even take Tylenol for mine! I have horrendous migraines from both sides of my parents, and now that I'm pregnant and starting 2nd trimester I'm being plagued with migraines that last for days on end. I'm a zombie with them!! I've heard that as long as your not overdoing it with the consumption of Tylenol it's okay to use as needed, good luck Mama!
