Birth Control during pregnancy?

So I was wondering if you could take birth control during pregnancy? I'm not 100% sure yet that I'm pregnant, but I'm also not 100% sure I'm not. So should I wait till I know 100% either way to start my new pack of birth control?

I thought I may have gotten self pregnant and my doctor told me to continue the pack and test during the placebo week and to start a new pack if i got a negative.

If your on birth control you shouldn't be pregnant unless you missed a day. Why do you think your pregnant in the first place?
