Essential Oils?

I'm at 6wks2days so still early. But I have chronic tension headaches and can no longer take my daily medicine, so my head and jaw are killing me. 
Has anyone used oils? Are they safe? Did you check with your dr?

I use essential oils almost daily. I like doTerra. Peppermint, lavender and frankincense are amazing for migraines! A few drops on your temples and the back of your neck make a huge difference. They also make a tension headache stick that's a blend of oils called Past Tense its a life saver!

A great book to purchase if you want to use essential oils during pregnancy and labor is Essential Oils for Pregnancy, Birth and Babies by Stephanie Fritz. If you are experiencing jaw pain, I would suggest Frankincense and Peppermint topically to start.
