Help. I am so confused.

My fiance and I agreed we would stop birth control and let a baby happen when it happens. After trying for like a month he is now talking about us trying in a year or two. But we have had conversations about why now is better than next year and especially not two years from now. I thought we were straight on trying now I feel like one of those girls just trying to trap him....help! I don't even know what to do or think... I could possibly be pregnant now (I could find out in around a week). Which is what we were going for. But now I think he doesn't want it now.....
