Prenantal vitamins don't increase your chances of concieving. Many women including myself take them while they are TTC since most women don't know that they are pregnant until they are at least one week along. The prenatal vitamins help fight against deformities and other illness that are due to a lack of vitmans and folic acid. This ensures a happy healthy baby while it is still forming in the womb. 😊

You should be taking prenatal vitamins if you want to conceive, or at least a good multi with lots of folic acid. It's important to have folic acid in your system regularly BEFORE you get pregnant to help prevent neural tube defects.

Every doctor and everything I read says you should be taking a prenatal while ttc.  I don't think it helps ttc but it is important for a healthy pregnancy.  Neural tube defects develop before 25 days and that's what you need the folic acid for.  Can't hurt,  so take them.
