What happened when you went off the pill?.

Good and bad Id like to hear what could happen going off the BC pill

I just stop taking my Birth control 2 weeks ago. I was a little emotional for like 3 days and have had a little head ache but other than that I am fine. I have read that getting off your birth control may boost your sex drive. I am worried about the first period I had been taking birth control for 12 years. Don't remember what a normal period is like 😐 lol

I swore that I was pregnant. I had all the signs; moodswings, extreme thirst, constant urination, cramping & there were a few others that I don't remember know. Anyhow, after that I promised myself that I would never get back on that thing. Interestingly I had no issues when I got on it. But getting off & have your emotions go haywire, not doing that again - oh it lasted about 2wks ...

I stopped pill at end of pack so I got my period right away. I got it again about 3 & a half weeks later and then immediately started normal ovulation.

Negatives: My acne came back full force like I had during puberty. I got my PMDD beck (holy mood swings batman!)

Positives:  My period is liter than prior to pill.  Menstrual cramps are less than prior to pill.  Less potential down the road issues (unknowns of being on pill & long-term effects).  Won't have to get off pill in 2 months when we're ready to start TTC!

The first period I got after that, was super bad. Bad cramps and heavy flow. My face broke out a little too. I'm back on it now.

I went off the pill a year ago and I'm just now starting to get my period regularly I've got it on time the last 3 months....

I became pregnant with twins two months after which i was told was common the first three months after the pill.

My period stopped all together for about 4 months and when I finally had one it was supper short and extremely heavy ( I couldn't even work or leave the house) then found out the next mouth I was pregnant. Also started bloating and my whole body not just my face broke out real bad for about the first month. Oh and migraines I guess because of the hormone change its mostly bad stuff but I think it would depend on the individual also.

I got pregnant. Not trying to be smart here but literally right after I took myself off I got pregnant.. Like within that month.

I bled for 64 days.. it was like a heavy period and got really sick and weak.. but i do have a bleeding disorder, so it could have been from that.

I got bad acne and I have never had breakouts in the past. Not necessarily on my face but behind my ears, hairline, neck and upper back. Yuck!
