Progesterone- advice needed
Hi everyone, just want to hear opinions. I've had 3 MC, and am pregnant again. First 2 were spontaneous pregnancies, third was <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a>. I've had 2 d&cs also.
My family dr. told me to ask my fertility clinic if I should take progesterone, since they prescribed it with my iuis and <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">Ivf</a>. The response was, "you can if you want. It won't hurt."
So should I? One of my main worries is that I'm prone to missed MC- my body doesn't recognize the fetus has passed and I end up having a D&C ( which is a terrible experience at our hospitals,'but that's another topic).
The last pregnancy had a chromosonal problem, and I think I would have MC naturally if not for the progesterone. What do I do? The clinic told me they don't usually prescribe it for spontaneous pregnancies, but I hear a lot of women on this forum take it with a MC history.
