Contraception after birth?

It's just occurred to me that I will have to decide whether or not to go back on the pill after I have my baby. The pill was great for my PCOS symptoms, but it took a long time to conceive when I came off it. The coil is not an option for me. Has anyone else thought about what you'll do for contraception after baby comes?

My contraception will be breastfeeding with a toddler and newborn. It took over 3 years to get pregnant again after our first was born without ever taking and kind of contraception or even using condoms. Pcos sucks, but in a way I was relieved not to have to worry for quite some time. I finally got pregnant about 6 months after little one stopped nursing.

After my third Clomid baby was born I decided not to go back on bcp at all since I hadn't ovulated on my own in years. I'm now 24 weeks with #4. Lol

I'm planning to have an Essure while I'm in there.

I'll be charting my cycle and avoiding sex in my fertile time. My hormones are screwy enough without adding birth control.

Maybe the IUD but I'm not sure. I was on nuvaring before and liked how easy it was to use.

I'm 23 and was on the pill since I was 14. Had a year break off it in 2009/2010 when pregnant with my daughter then went back on it. Came of it sept 2013 to ttc again. We're due our little one in may. I'm thinking about going onto the contraceptive patch this time afterwards. Think I've had my time on the pill.

I think I'm gonna do the implation. I had the mireana and had horrible problems with it and did the nuvaring but had to many infections from it. I was on the patch for a while and LOVED it but you can't be on the patch and breastfeed which I plan to do with baby #2 which is due in April. I always forget the pill so honestly not sure what I'm gonna do. I believe my body doesn't like foreign objects so I'm not so sure about the implation since I had so many problems with the mireana and the nuvaring.
