Arizona is now set to require a civics test to earn a high school diploma or GED.  The lawmakers feel it will engage more students in civics. Thoughts?

I don't really trust Arizona to administer a civics test and not an "American history as seen by the Tea Party" test.

If we make immigrants take it to become citizens, shouldn't American citizens be able to pass it?? I took a Civics test in high school. We needed it to graduate. You kept taking it until you passed it. It's important!

It was required in my high school to take a civics class, then history, then government.
