Best nursing chair?

Question

My husband is convinced he can get me an old wooden rocking chair and put a sheepskin on it as a nursing chair. Now that sounds comfy to me but as something I will need to spend tons of time in, especially while I'm half conscious, I don't think it will be comfy enough. Good cheap options?

We are getting ours from Amazon! I always read reviews before buying anything and the nursing chairs I was looking at had great reviews! There's also tons of other color combinations. This is just the color combo we are going for 😊

We got a rocking chair that was 700 for 300 at bed bath and beyond. It was the floor model but was in perfect condition. We bought this one after I bought a cheap one from babies r us and after sleeping 3 nights with a sick baby I refused to sleep in that uncomfortable rocker for one more night. I would definitely say invest in a comfortable one cause you will most in likely be spending some night sleeping in it.

Honestly I've never used a chair for nursing a baby even though I she one. The most comfortable place for me is the couch or the bed. I'm usually cross legged or semi reclined on my side - whatever feels good. I'm find actually sitting to nurse awkward and uncomfortable.

I went shopping for one and the sales woman said to make sure your head can rest comfortably on the back. I think this is key to sleepless nights. It's one thing I'm going to splurge on.

I have a regular rocking recliner. It's super comfy and it's nice to be able to kick back and recline while I'm nursing.

Dutailier gliders are supposedly the best although they are a bit pricy. I've seen some alternatives on Amazon, particularly the Stork Craft

I have a wooden rocking chair for my first we put one of those bubble blankets over the back of it- honestly not bad and waaaaaay cheaper than a fancy glider. I would let him do it for you, besides there's always your bed, the couch, etc. you end up nursing all over the place! It's an all day venture ;)

Craigslist one or just use the bed (at night) or couch (during the day). Or any comfy chair you got.

Honestly, search used sites around you. I got mine for $100 and it's in next to perfect condition! One of the comfy ones they sell at Babies'R'Us.
