GTT? Did you have to have it

Question

I have to go for a GTT tomorrow but wasn't given one with my first. I have no risks of developing it but the midwife who booked me in said she liked everyone to get tested now.

Did you have it?

Also I have to wait in the hospital for two hours i between the two blood tests and I'm really not looking forward to it at all.

I got it done! Twice! Awful experience and doesn't help when you are pregnant with an empty stomach! Had to remind myself it'll be over soon! It will be over soon! Haha!

Well just had a call and I failed the first one also. Should have been 5.1 and mine was 5.5 but second was fine but because one wasn't I have to monitor it x

I had it and failed, probably due to the fact no one told me I was to fast and I ate chocolate before going. Now I have to stab my finger 4 times a day and watch what I eat x

This is our first baby and I've been told I'll have to have it. The midwife did warn me it would be really boring but I'm a few weeks away from having it done yet.

Yeah I had it but again didn't really need it, I left the hospital between blood tests, she said she wouldn't recommend it but couldn't actually stop me xx
