Is this normal?

My husband and I started ttc about six months ago. I'm in my fertility window. We had sex about four hours ago. I'm overly excited about this being my month. Is it normal to feel overly excited every month after having sex during your fertility window? My husband doesn't get excited like this and in fact he is the one who tells me not to get my hopes up but every month I get excited like this. Should I stop being so excited? Or should I just let it be?
