Pregnancy blood test questions

Ok, I've got an appointment tomorrow for a blood test. Now, I have a question.

Q. Is it like a normal blood test sample? Like, you can't have anything to eat or drink after midnight?

Q. How accurate is the test? Like do you have to have a little or a lot of the hCG hormone?
