Growing up I always had what was considered " normal" periods. Actually I would bleed for four days and then be done. No cramps. A little back pain. Just felt like I needed to have my back cracked. Then at the age of 15 I was thrown on the pill. I was terrible at remembering it, but since I wasn't sexually active til the age of 18 I didn't really see an issue. At the age of 20, my boyfriend who now husband, and I agreed that we weren't ready for a baby yet and since I couldn't remember the pill, and condoms never seemed to be there when we needed them. I went to the doctor to get the depo. Thought it was the best thing ever, no periods, back pains, and I didn't get pregnant. I heard coming off the depo it was hard to get pregnant that it took awhile. So with the wedding in a year and half we agreed it wouldn't be that bad if we had a baby before the wedding, so off the depo I went. We did say I would go in the pill but we needed me to have a period first. 8 months later I had my first period from being on the depo. So I made my appointment and went to the doctors. I was on the pill for 6 months and just didn't feel right. So I went off it again. Using nothing for protection at this point but wedding was in three months and we figured oh well we want a baby anyways. I started thinking my period was coming to close together. So I downloaded Glow. I first I thought it was stress but 4 months after the wedding I'm seeing my periods are coming every other week. I'm having sometimes two week long periods. I talked to doctors and all they want me to do it go back to the pill, but how can I get pregnant if I'm on birth control?? I can't be the only one going through this. Help!
