Low cramps?

I haven't had cramping for at least 2 weeks or so. I am at 12 weeks tomorrow. Tonight I started feeling a few sharp almost lightning like cramps that were really low. Is this too late for cramps or is that normal? Kind of freaked me out!

I'm 11wks 2 days and have had cramps on and off this whole time. My dr said cramping is normal as long as there is no blood. It's your uterus stretching to make room for your growing baby :) also the sharp pains could be ligaments. If your really worried I would just call in to your drs office and tell them your concerns. It's scary sometimes doctors will say it's normal and in my opinion if its reoccurring it's not. I've dealt with a terrible miscarriage and my reoccurring cramps were happening without blood showing up n it was because I was in labor at 15wks. I would try and rest and elevate your feet, that always helps me!
