It doesn't even remotely bother me. We are literally a country made of immigrants. English isn't even the United States' official language.

Hi dudes...Spanish is not a race. That's what annoys me. Instead of getting mad at the little bit of culture u are being exposed to, pick up a social studies book and learn the difference between race, ethnicity and nationality :)

In many other countries, people are expected to know more than one language. If we're going to be honest with ourselves, we're pretty intellectually lazy in the US. There was a French exchange student at my school who spoke French (duh), English, Spanish, and was learning Portuguese from another exchange student, and I was just like "WELL I SPEAK SPANISH AT A FOURTH GRADE LEVEL SO THERE 😝". Granted, this was an exceptional student, but she also claimed that everybody in her school was expected to know, like really know, two languages.

You're seeing it happening because Hispanic and Latinos are becoming more and more powerful economically.  We have money to spend and companies want it.

I use dvr so I just breeze through all commercials. They all suck!!

In Canada we don't have French commercials on English channels. We have French channels where the French commercials air, and vice versa. Why can't America just throw in a few Spanish channels? It makes no sense to have a show air in English but then put the commercials in Spanish.
