I didn't tell my mom, instead I put one square of toilet paper in my underpants and left to go play soccer with my friend who was a boy. We played for quite a while then I took a break because I was. Cramping up. I sit down and then he starts to sit down... Then he says in a shocked voice.. What's that?? Down by my foot is my square of toilet paper with blood spotted all over it. I said it was mine and then picked it up holding it over my nose. I pretended I had a blood nose and had bashed it on my knee. He never asked where I had got the piece of toilet paper from 😂

The next month I had my first real period not just spotting.
