Having sex after your period

I started my period Sunday jan 25th and I ended jan 29th, me and my boyfriend had sex jan 31st and after when I went to the bathroom and I wiped there was blood. The blood was a very bright red, and after a couple of wipes I was done bleeding. Is that normal to spot a little when you have sex a couple of days after your period?
