Does the depo BC shot help with hormone imbalance?

I'm a lady but recently found out I have high t can I stop the pill and go for the shot instead?

I went absolutely nuts on it. Doesn't help that I'm probably bipolar  (still being doagnosed) and was more than likely going through a manic episode. I said some horrible things to my sister in law. It's been almost two years. She still hates me. And I do mean hate.

Depo shot is a progestin (progesterone) only birth control. So if you need one with estrogen in it also then depo is not the way to go. Depo also causes lots of side effects

My two best friends were on it. Made them gain SO MUCH weight as well as they're emotions were all over the place! Don't do it!
