Is 13 weeks really the 2nd trimester?

I've heard people say yes and no and I'm so confused. Glow says I'm in my 2nd trimester so I'm assuming it's true but then again there's people who still say it's 14 weeks.... Ummm which is true?

A lot of people say it's 13, or 14. My doctor told me 14 and 28 weeks mark the beginning of your second and third trimesters, not 13 and 26 like most people and charts say. It's up to you to decide if you want to say you're in your 2nd trimester :) You could always ask your doctor! They often vary in what they say also.
