So I'm a virgin. And I have plans made to lose my virginity to my best friend when I turn 18. It that a good age to lose your virginity? Or should I wait longer.

I'd wait. I never understood the whole "planning to lose it to a friend" thing. Call me old fashioned but I think your virginity is something you should share with someone you love. I lost mine when I was 19, to a guy I'd been dating for a year. No regrets. When it's right, you'll know. Whatever your decide though, just take precautions to be safe about it. (Both protecting against pregnancy and STIs) And realize that sex brings out bonding hormones and you'll probably feel attached to whoever you sleep with (which is another reason I wouldn't do it with a friend).

I don't believe there is an age, but I would wait until you find someone who you truly love. It's such an intimate interaction that I would definitely recommend waiting until you are in love. I stayed a virgin longer than most of my friends but when I finally found someone who I was ready to share this moment with, it was amazing. I told him it was my first time and he was surprised but I told him I wanted to wait for until I was ready and for it to be special. My boyfriend and I still talk about how special that was even now
