My fiancé and I are broke, so we're doing a candlelight dinner at home, we're each picking a romantic movie to watch, and I have a fancy dress that I got an amazing deal on along with sexy lingerie that I've been saving for a special occasion. We're so excited!

It doesn't have to be like a 2nd birthday. The fact that you remembered that it's a holiday, and got them anything (even a cheesy card or candy) means something positive.
