Menstrual Cup?

I'm thinking about using one. What are the pros and cons? Can young teens use them? Are they good or bad? Help.

I have been using the "Diva Cup" for just over a year now. I am IN LOVE! It is a safer more affective way to take care of that time of the month. There is no risk for T.S.S so you may wear it for up to 12 hours and you may wear it at night!(no more yucky pad mess in the morning!) Depending on your flow you can easily put it in in the morning and not worry about it all day (for some into the evening) making the stress of "did I leak? Did I bleed through?" than you can empty it before bed and sleep with no worries. My period has been heavier due to my Copper iud but I still happily use the cup with only 1 empty throughout the day. Very easy to put in and out once you get the hang of it. Make sure to read the directions on insertion. Its title worth it and not one bit scary! Good luck! 😊

I found a good website that compares brands which was really helpful for me. I ended up buying lunette and it's been going fine so far!

I used the diva cup and had soft cups in my purse in case something happened
Cons: putting it in, until you get the hang of it
 And the fact that you have to disinfect it, so you always need multiples

Pros: much cheaper in the long run
It's much cleaner then pads and feels more secure then tampons(once placed right)
Also there is no risk of tss
My fave was you can leave it in until full or up to 12 hrs!!

Soft cup is my LEAST favorite because they're really hard to get out for me. I would not reccomend that particular brand!
