Car seat safety- if your friend/relative/acquaintance posted a photo of their child/charge secured improperly, would you speak up?

As many as 75% of car seats sre installed incorrectly, facing the wrong way, have dangerous attachments, or are buckled the wrong way. If someone you knew posted or shared a photo with their child fastened incorrectly, or you saw it- would you speak up? Many parents, after a car accident where their child was killed or injured, upon finding out people knew their child was secured incorrectly, wish someone would have said something. Would you?

I wouldn't say anything online because people can't tell your intentions or tone over the internet. If you personally know the person suggest that you guys get your car seats checked together. I know some fire station do free checks for you.

I think that I would want to say something, but parenting is such a touchy subject that whenever you do mention anything, no matter how good your intentions are, people get offended and don't listen to you. I think I would only say something if I was really close with the person, and even then I would worry about how to get the point across without them getting offensive because they think I'm criticizing their parenting.

In the past, I've seen FB photos with something wrong with the seat, and I've stayed silent. Not anymore though.

I didn't know the difference until yesterday and it's horrible. I think it should be advertised and shown how to properly buckle your child in because A LOT of women/men don't know what the proper way to buckle your child in.
