Birth control pill??

Never been on birth control in my life but my doctors want to put me on some type of birth control the only kinda birth control I would consider is the pill just wondering if there is any side effects to taking the pill?

I'm on the pill. On week 2 and week 3 of pills I had breast soreness, weird taste on my tongue, spotting/light bleeding, increased appetite, increased sex drive. On week 1 of pills I was nauseated. But I haven't had no weight gain and my acne has cleared up, also my breasts look bigger.

So I had been taking a certain pill for almost a year, and then I switched doctors and they switched my pill around to different ones like 3 times. I told my new doctor that the first pill I had been taking worked BEST. She prescribed me the brand she believed would work best and I’m pretty sure it was the first pill I’d been taking originally. But now I missed a period by 15 days. I haven’t had sex but it’s super annoying and I just wanna know if this has happened to anyone else?

I dont have any side effects.. i am trinessa and i love it.. i havent gained weight, no mood changes, eat habits are good.. no cramps at all and light periods sometimes..
