Does it bother you if your SO drinks?

My DH has a drink just about every night. I don't want to drink, but it's starting to bother me that he's doing something in front of me that I can't do. Am I out of line?

My dh has a usual all nighter binge usually when I'm due to give birth at any time. It's happened with all three- like he let's it out a little before lockdown. Lol. He's vowed no drinking on his own accord this pregnancy stating he's doing it with me, so it will be interesting to see how he goes- he's more into his muscles than drink at the moment so I'm not complaining at all.... For now. 💪

I have my moments I don't mind for the days he drinks one or two but the nights he gets drunk really bothers me (one night he went straight to the spare bedroom because he knew I was angry) And also when he doesn't get anything for me I tell him to "get me something fun" when he gets something to drink...typically ice cream or some other type of desert (or whatever thing I'm craving that hour ha)

My husband has a couple beers a couple times a week. While I loooooove beer, it doesn't bother me. If it is a really good microbrew I will have 1 sip. We aren't the type to get drunk though. It would bug me if he was drunk often even if I weren't pregnant.

I just went on an all inclusive vacation with 12 other people, we booked before I knew I was pregnant. I had fun but did get aggravated at everyone so drunk and loud all the time. If I could've been too I'm sure it wouldn't have bothered me at all

Yes it bothers me but it always has even before I was pregnant. I'm not a big drinker and it just bothers me. Even when I was with my ex I felt like they acted stupid when alcohol was in their system

A few weeks after I got pregnant my bf went out drinking four out of seven nights. I sat him down and explained I felt it was unfair and it would be nice if he cooled it a bit and he did. Now we go out with friends and he'll have one or two and then will switch to water like me. And we try to go to bars that have non-alcoholic beers so I can have one too! He never drinks at home though.

Things will bother you, trust me. I have started walking out of the room when my hubby even mentions something related to off roading. I'm sick of him focusing on it and spending what little extra money we have each paycheck on it.

If you like wine, ask him to pick you up a bottle by Fré. It is approved wine for pregnant women. The alcohol is removed but it taste more wine like that the welch's stuff.

Sometimes it bothers me when my husband drinks because the smell makes me sick and then I can't kiss him or sleep in bed with him without us facing opposite ways.
