What did it feel like in the days or week leading up to you going into labor?

How does it feel while your body prepares for labor

Very restless and uncomfortable (understatement), especially the week of. I was having very very strong (not painful) contractions for the week prior. I had diarhhea a few minutes before my water broke. I had been losing big chunks of my mucus plug too. I was completely exhausted that week. I was at my breaking point. I delivered 2 days before my due date. I had been to my ob and we planned on an induction in 4 days. That night I went into labor.

About a week before, with both babies... I lost mucous plug. Not the little bits of mucous, but Huge bloody glob. Then, I got this huge burst of energy and need to clean (even vacuuming at 3am not caring who I woke up) cleaning out EVERYTHING. When I actually started having contractions, I had calmed down and was so exhausted, I was able to relax and sleep through the, what felt like period cramps. By the time I woke up from my binge sleeping marathon, it was actual strong contractions that woke me up. That's when I started to time them, and started micro managing my hubby to make sure he had everything ready and preped to go to the hospital.

I felt like I reached a breaking point, had a mental breakdown about two weeks before and the few days before I had (tmi) lots of diarrhea and vomiting. I was very restless in the last few weeks and didn't sleep much at all

When I was 40+weeks with my first (currently 33+5 with my 2nd), I woke up feeling like something was stuck in my pelvis. Normally your upper and lower parts of your body can move separately or like when you sit cross legged, but I couldn't sit like that or bend over very well, I just felt like I was fused together. I also spent the entire day obsessive cleaning the house and couldn't even stop myself. That night once I sat down I started having contractions and went to the hospital the next day and had my son early the next morning!
