Late ovulation/progesterone

Ok so here's the deal. I normally ovulate on day 21 of my cycle. I talked to my doctor about progesterone levels before and last month she told me to come in on day 21 and get them checked. I explained that I ovulate late and she has seen my charts and she still insisted on day 21 testing. So I did and I came back at 4.50 this month again she wants me to come in on day 21 and I think it should be later (she put me on clomid)

So my question is- if you have late ovulation do you get your progesterone checked on a later date then the usual cycle day 21?
