Has anyone ever had a faint line that didn't result in pregnancy?

I would like to hear people's stories...I have had two days in a row of faint lines but I had to get an HCG shot and I read that can sometimes cause a false positive. Has this happened to anyone?

The trigger shot can stay in up to 14 days. When I do Ovidrel it's usually out by 10 days after trigger.

This cycle I tested out my trigger (watch it fade away and hope it comes back). It was gone by 9dpo/10dpt but the line came back. I am going to test again in the morning and if it's still there call my Dr as that would be 14 days after the trigger and I hope it's REAL!!!! Cross your fingers for me please!

No hcg shots here but last month I had. 3 days of positives, faint but there, on clear blue regular hpts and then AF came late. Possible chemical/miscarriage but either way it happens. There definitely is such a thing as a false positive esp with blue dye tests
