I recently got Ombre and they went up very high causing me to be a bit disappointed. Does it still look good? :/

Whe I got my ombre my stylist told me to wash it often for the first week and it would fade and look even better. Then after that week lessen shampooing your hair. Also purple shampoo is really awesome, you should try that. I loved it when I got my ombre. But when your hair grows out 5-8weeks from now your ombre will still look awesome.
