Valentines day?

So me and my sister were having a discussion about valentines day, and who should do what. So my sister thinks the guy should do things for the girl on valentines day and the girl shouldn't do anything. But I think both should do things for each other. What do y'all think?

I honestly think Valentine's Day is dumb. I would much rather have my SO surprise me with something out of the blue and me do the same for him. They should show you how much they love you 365 days a year!!!

We think it's a silly holiday focused on forced flowers and candy. I would honestly rather get them ANY OTHER DAY out of the blue. So we skip all the nonsense and just watch movie (s) and order in pizza.... best eaten in our pjs :)

It's a ridiculous holiday but we still do special things for each other even if we're broke.

I don't know why people this this holiday is dumb, we celebrate mothers day, father's day, grandparents day, birthdays, and holidays for other people, why not celebrate lovers day! I love my husband everyday of course but it's fun to have a day dedicated that just that!
