Bartholins Cyst

Have any of you experienced this before?

I've had two ocurances previously, with a third flaring up. I've researched various treatment methods looking for something long term that will prevent it from flaring up in the future. Both times before I went to the ER and it was drained. My research tells me there are other options with less likeliness for reoccurrence.

I've seen a gyno following up with my last treatment who insisted I'd be fine and it wasn't a concern. Here I am, 6 months later, with a very uncomfortable cyst again. I have an appointment on Thursday to see my NP but I'm feeling frustrated since I basically had to beg for an appointment to get in. Why do I feel like my concerns are being shrugged off? It's as if doctors and nurses just expect me to have a cyst cut into and drained every six months, as if that's "normal" or totally expected.
