Anyone ever struggle with credit card debt?

Anyone ever get themselves into this problem? And how did you fix it?

We started listening to Dave Ramsey on the radio and reading his books. Paid off over $80k in 3 years. It's hard, but it can be done! No debt anymore!

I had about $1500 of credit card debt in college, which is a lot for a college student making minimum wage. I put all extra money towards it and paid it off. I immediately cut up the card. I'm almost happy it happened then because I know now what not to do. Neither my husband or I have credit cards. If we don't have the money for it now, we can't afford it. 
Listen to Dave Ramsey. I've learned a lot from him. Suzi Orman is good too. She cracks me up sometimes
Make a budget- I never realized all the unnecessary things I was spending money on. 
Throw any money left over at the debt 
Most importantly, learn from past mistakes. If I didn't have credit card debt when I was young, i don't know if I would be as careful with my money as I am now. I know I don't want to go back to that.

Still working on paying student, 40k and car loan. Cleared credit card debt q tax refund. It was a huge sacrifice cause we wanted so much stuff and actually needed some things but we bit the bullet and cleared the credit debt cause it was high interest. Working on student loan and car loan. I plan to dedicate this coming refund to car loan. It will be super hard cause we will have wants and needs w baby...but I know it will be best for her future for us to pay off as much as possible. Once I clear up one or two of the 3 debts left we hope to buy a home! That's a big vision but worth the sacrifice.

So my husband and I had a credit card that got out of hand as well as a loan that was higher interest, we got a debt consolidation loan and it's saving us like $500 a month in payments of what we would be paying in interest. The debt consolidation loan isn't low interest by any means, but much more affordable.

I acquired some student debt when I went to university but luckily ive began paying for it now with my salary. It's taken out monthly by a small percentage only like 1 per cent and my overdrafts I contacted the bank and created a payment plan to pay an amount I can afford every month. I've now got two more payments to pay the overdrafts (whenever I could pay more I did it straight away to avoid spending the money and decreasing the debt faster) and I will be more comfortable financially. 
Before paying for it all I also checked myself spiritually because I find that when I'm spiritually imbalanced thats when I buy things which aren't necessary. I would definitely advise you to take the same approach as it has helped me immensely!!!

I was lucky enough that my husband nor I ever needed or had credit cards. If we didn’t have it in the bank, we didn’t spend it unless it was in our bank account accept for car loans and student loans. We have been able to pay off our student loans and now just have car loans and probably always will because we like having newer cars and our mortgage. We now both have a credit card and we each have a card for the one we each have but we pay both balances at the end of the month so we don’t have interest but do get rewards.

In my early 20s I was unemployed and racked up 10 grand in cc debt. I paid it all off myself in full. Next time I'll apply for food stamps or whatever I wouldn't qualify now but I would have back then and I could have used my shitty paycheck $9 an hour for gas.

I make a point to not use cc's except for kohls and my citicash rewards card. I did a balance transfer and just paid it. my student loan is $741 a month so I basically have to pay that first and since I was unemployed and working a PT job most of the money went to basic needs like electric and heat. I have an 800 something credit score despite all of that bc I always make sure I paid on time.

We now have savings for those types of emergencies & I paid for my wedding in cash ... saved like $17k towards it. So I have grown a lot with respect to finances.
