When to introduce bottles

Question

So, I know my husband wants to help with feedings. I have my breast pump and storage bags as well as Comotomo bottles which are supposed to be one of the closest to an actual breast. But, everything online says wait three weeks at least before introducing a bottle.

My question is, if the bottle is supposed to work exactly like a nipple, do we need to wait three weeks or could we start using bottles sometimes now? What have you ladies found in your experience?

Wait until nursing has been established and your supply has evened out. The last thing you want is to pump and lead to oversupply which is a whole other issue that can easily happen the first few weeks. Regardless of the bottle shape it is still a completely different form of suckling and when you do it too soon can cause nipple confusion. That's great if he wants to help but wait a few more weeks if it's not necessary
