How to know when your baby turns in down position?

Question

I'm currently 29 weeks and was just wondering when and if I will know when he's in face down position. I have my next appt March 4 so I'm assuming they will determine were he's at or not?

My midwives will feel my belly and can tell how he is positioned and tell me how he is if I ask otherwise they say he's all good. :)

My dr checked my baby's position for the first time at 35 weeks. There's still a lot of room for your baby to move around so I think that's why doctors tend to check closer to your due date. But I could be wrong lol every doctor is different

Just had sonogram at 26 weeks with my first since I had major decrease in movements over 3 days last week. Did sonogram and sure enough baby is breech which is why I'm not feeling much cause it's not moving as much. Anybody else similar  issue? I hate not feeling it like I did...so scary!
