I think most of the people on Glow is aware that unprotected sex can lead to pregnancy or STDS. There's also uneducated teenagers that are here too and they mightn't be well aware as us adults are.

I'd eventually like to donate my eggs, but apparently there's a huge chance that I am infertile(no great sadness to me. I don't want kids). Usually my bf and I have safe sex but every now and then we use the withdrawal method. 
We realize there is always a risk and have money set aside in case we ever need plan b.

I have also wondered about some posts on here that seem like people should be a little more educated...not to be a meanie or offend anyone, but you should probably know what can and cannot happen if you have sex.

I am fully awear of what can happen when I have unprotected sex . I'm 22 and have been sexually active sense about 15  but the only reason I know about STDS is from being open with my mother as I got a little old   .  I can truely say when I was 15 and decided to have sex I wasn't sure what I was doing and really wasn't awear of all the STDS  and how I could come in contact with them . I think it all depends on how open you are with family and who you can trust in talking to. I think alot of young girls think losing their virginity is the cool thing to do now and they want to go grow up way faster than they should so they don't take the time to learn . Or they don't have the support of parent they feel they can talk to . That's why I really like this app because it can give younger girls a voice to ask questions that probably make them feel uncomfortable to talk about .
