How do you know your ready,?

How do you know you are ready for #2?? My husband wants #2. So do I but is it to soon? My daughter is 20 months old now and we are in the middle of potty training so she will most likely be out of diapers.

I think when we really started talking about the possibility of our second child, it sparked something inside of me, like equal parts excitement and scared shitless! It's hard to say "okay I'm ready now, at this exact moment"... Sometimes you just have listen to yor heart and your head. And sometimes, if you think it's going to be a possibility, you just have to make the leap!

...When you feel ready to love another baby.  For the longest time we couldn't wrap our mind around the idea. Also, we needed to settle into our groove as a family. Once that was "check" and "check", we started trying.

We decided how far apart we wanted kids to be and went from there. We also kind of planned around what time of year we wanted the baby to be born. Our son is 20 months and I'm six weeks pregnant so they'll be about 2 years and 4 months apart. I don't know if I was necessarily "ready" for another one, but I think it will be good for our little guy to have a sibling somewhat close in age.

I am oregnant with number two and my daughter is almost 15m.  She will be 18 mknths when baby is born!  We are so excited and can't wait!
