IVF- anyone done it?

I'm about to start IVF. I'm 41, so we have to go this route. I'm nervous and excited all at the same time. Anyone have any advice?

So exciting! Good luck:) I haven't done it but wish you the best!!! When do you start? How many embryos will they allow you to have put in you? Are you hoping for multiples?  ;)

I've just finished hormone injections and clomid but we did iui. The hormones aren't as bad as I was told they would be. Wish I could give you more info!

Is it expensive to do?? I would love more information so I can know if it will be okay for me to do. I heard it's very expensive??

IVF is covered here in MA, so we'll have to pay our deductible, but not the whole thing. I've done the whole Clomid thing and it didn't work. I have low ovarian reserve, so this is the last hope. YES, I would love multiples! I start at my next period. It takes two cycles. First cycle, they just suppress the ovaries at the end of the cycle, then the next cycle I would take the hormone shots, which the dr said I should tolerate better than the Clomid. (I had a terrible time with the side effects) So, I'm excited/nervous/scared. I really want this to work. We've already had two miscarriages, so this is the last so before adoption. Sending out positive intentions to the universe!
