TTC for over a year. How long did you wait to make a doctor appointment?

I am almost 27 and my husband and I have been trying to conceive for about a year and a half. I have a low thyroid condition called Hashimotos. I have had my levels tested multiple times and have been told they are normal and not any concern. Any suggestions??

It's time to make an appt and he/she should start doing some tests. I have been ttc for 10 months and I am going in this month on day 21 of my cycle for a progesterone test. After that we will just keep trying and may do more tests if necessary.

Most docs suggest a year but I refused to wait that long to find out if something was wrong. 6 months I went to the doc and had blood tests and a HSG done. Everything Is normal. My doc is putting me on clomid next cycle wich will be 7 months TTC. The choice should really be up to you and if your doc refuses to do tests, maybe find another one.

I'm in UK, currently in our 16th month..Dr would not do anything untill it had been 2years 😕  xx

I went to my OB about t after 18 months. That was in November. I had an hsg test and bloodwork done and found out one of my tubes was blocked. I started Clomid this month and just got my BFP!

I heard after a year of trying that's when you should start infertility appts. I've heard so many success stories too! :)
