I have been using Tampax Pearl unscented tampons for over a year now. recently when i use them i become very irritated, red, and sore, after I insert it, and removing it. I am having mild irritation internally after I insert it into my vagina. Externally, it really hurts bad, sometimes it even hurts me to walk. Right after my period, I am sore from even having sex for a few days after, it then clears up. Is it possible that I could be allergic to the Tampax Pearl? Does anyone else have or had any similar problems with Pearl? I've spoke with my gynecologist about it and she just recommended that I switch brands. Could it be an allergy?
