Is spotting for a month normal?

I have been spotting since the day I found out I was pregnant. A month has passed and I take a pregnancy test every few days and it's still
Positive but the very light spotting continues. I don't have cramping.  The color is always different. Red, pink, brown. My doctors nurse said "oh that could be an atopic pregnancy, miscarriage, or that everything is fine. If you aren't having any pain just wait for your appointment in 3 weeks." But I can't stop worrying. If my doctor won't see me should I go to the ER or chill out?

I have been spotting on and off (brown spotting) for about 3 weeks. Blood work has been fine and saw the heart beat today!! Doctors told me not to worry unless I have cramps and  bright red blood. Hope this helps

If you're having red spotting I would want to be seen. Have you asked to have your beta numbers and progesterone checked? That's probably a good place to start. If your dr isn't willing to see you or do a blood level to address your worries maybe it's time to find a new doctor?

I would call your primary care doctor of an OB won't see you! I was spotting and I went in after a few days to get blood work and an ultrasound. It put my totally at ease to know everything is ok.

Pink and brown are fine but my nurse said that red is not. I would get checked just to be sure. I couldn't wait 3 more weeks, I'm not that patient. Good luck!!!

No OB/GYN at this hospital will see you till you are 10-12 weeks.

I could really use some advise. I can't talk to anyone because I haven't told anyone about the pregnancy. I don't know what to do. I don't want to be a crazy person over reacting.
