What were your combined results for Down's Syndrome screening? And what flow up did you have if you got "not great" results?

I've just had my results and although I was happy with them my consultant is not. She recommended amniocentesis. I just want to get some opinions to help me decide what step to take next re. testing. If anyone feels they can-results and what you did next would be great. 
P.s. In UK harmony test is not available on NHS.

After a lot of thought with my first baby we decided not to have the Down's syndrome tests. The initial tests are not conclusive and knew I wouldn't have the amnio as I couldn't risk loosing my baby.

After 2 healthy babies and a miscarriage I'm now having my third baby and if anything having the miscarriage has made me even more certain that I don't want any tests.

No matter what happens we will love this baby with all our hearts and will be a wonderful additional to our family.

I actually had a bad screening ( good scan but bad blood test). My doctor also recommended either this harmony test or amnio..Did the harmony (it is actually called smth else in Russia) last week and waiting for the results. Was very stressed for a couple of day but then decided that I can't help and it is what it is so..good luck with whatever test you will go for

Amniocentesis are dangerous. Definitely weigh the risks before deciding. Will the results make a significant difference in your pregnancy or prepration for the baby?

The nurse just at called me w my prenatal screening results from my appt last week. She didn't give me an exact #( I guess I could have asked), just said all the results were in the normal range and there were no indications of a problem. Thinking of everyone currently in the 'wait' period for their results!

Did you ladies get the results of your nuchal translucency screening that same day? If not, how long did you have to wait? Mine is tomorrow and I am very nervous :(

My test came back as no further testing needed

The first test is only an ultrasound and  a finger price for blood which will in no way harm the baby I got my results today and they were normal sooo happy!! 😄 and Definatly worth the piece of mind

I got a bad test too 1:74 but my other test, the NIPT came back negative so doctor recommended no further testing necessary. I guess it's common to have a false positive and for that reason I will never have this screening done again with future kids. Not worth the headache.

We are getting further testing after abnormal screen results. We will love our baby no matter what but we want to be prepared for whatever is next. If nothing is wrong then it's just extra piece of mind. Going in tomorrow actually.

My first screening results were higher than normal, and when I went to the ob on Friday she seemed concerned, asking me if I had any questions or concerns. I said I'd just wait to see what the sequential and final screenings were and go from there. I have my second sequential on April 8.
