What is it? Where can I get one? Would you recommend it? Is it cost-efficient? Any user complaints?

I've just bought a similar one Mooncup. Tried it for the first time and was ok getting it in but found it a bit uncomfortable coming out. I will keep trying as I really agree with using this product over towels/tampons. On an Eco level it ticks all the boxes, found a stat that during a woman's life she will use over 11,000 towels/tampons!!! Or she could use one mooncup, which will last for years and years.  it's definitely the way forward for reducing the waste we send to landfill.
Another benefit is you don't have to carry around lots of bulky towels in your handbag, all you need is the mooncup!

I love mine, been using it for 4 years. I think it cost me around $25 but I could be off there... but it's so worth it to never buy tampons again! 😃 Honestly, it's wonderful.

It's a silicone cup that sits low in your vagina and collects the menstrual flow. You can leave it in for up to 12 hours with an average flow and you take it out, empty it, rinse, and reinsert.

My only complaint is that for the first period, it's a little tough to insert and remove. But like anything else, it's better with practice and now is second nature. I honestly forget I even have my period sometimes. No leaks, no fuss.
