Can stress cause miscarriage?

Hi, i am 6 weeks pregnant, i am worried that stress caused my two previous miscarriages, i am trying not to get stressed but it is very hard as i have a difficult job and get stressed easily!

I heard that there is no evidence that stress can cause misscarriage. It's natural to feel stressed when pregnant particularly when you have to cope with pregnancy sickness.

Even if you are feeling stressed you are still likely to go on to have a healthy baby. Our bodies are designed to cope with stress. Even so, it does make sense to try & minimise any pressure on you. If nothing else, it will help you enjoy your pregnancy.

Please don't blame yourself for your previous miscarriages. x
