What's your birth plan?

What are your plans? This is my first and I am scared to death of the pain from a vaginal birth. I need love to hear throughs and feelings from both experiences.

My plan is "have healthy baby with as little fuss as possible". I'm not terribly worried about vaginal versus c-section. Vaginal births have fewer complications and faster recovery times, but if that's not going to work, I'm grateful to live in a time and place with C-section is readily available.

My emergency c section was so much worse. You will get different responses from different women in different situation but I've said it many times, I would rather have 10 more unmedicated births than 1 more section

Planning for another vbac in May, if all goes well. Healing from my c-section went smoothly enough but the staff was awful, before and after surgery. I would only go through it again if absolutely necessary.

Had an emergency c section and loved it. I healed so great and so fast. And even though it was an emergency it went very smoothly. Only thing I would change is that I had already been given an epidural plus the numbing stuff for the c section, then I started shaking so they gave me more. so by the time the c section was over I was pretty much passed out. But I didn't mind that much. I didn't feel that it ruined the experience for me. I am having another c section this time around.

My first was an emergency c-section and second was a VBAC. I would much rather have the vaginal birth. Also if you talk to doctors, they are finding a lot of complications from c-sections

Oh I really hope I can do a vaginal birth again this time but I'm high risk and carrying twins so the babies get to decide c-section or vaginal based on how they are positioned when we need to deliver....I'm crossing my fingers though but keeping it my mind that it's very likely I will need a C
