Drinking during the 2 week wait?

Just wondering if it's ok to have a few drinks while I wait for my AF or BFP.  Couple of glasses of wine one day, couple beers another.  Is there any research on the topic?

I read that you're fine until your missed period/BFP. Because technically your baby is just a bundle of cells so alcohol won't harm it.

Aleo, there are studies suggesting red wines and malty beers are perfectly fine throughout pregnancy when one has a few glasses per week, one drink a day.

I'm not a big drinker. I didn't have any hard liquor. I drank a few glasses of wine during my 2 week wait..... I'm pregnant.

I spoke with my obgyn regarding this. She says "drink till it's pink, responsibly of course". She says not to put your life on hold while waiting for something that could take years or even never happen. Just track and test, and once you see two lines.... Stop.

My doc told me alcohol is fine in moderation up until your 9th week of pregnancy.

People drink and don't even know they are pregnant. A few glasses is fine

Isn't ttcing and tracking and 2ww all about having your body in its most optimal state for a baby?
I'm sure a couple of glasses of wine are ok in moderation but 2 glasses of alcohol every night seems like what could be looked at as a necessity?
