Spotty ewcm when period is due

I have pcos so its very difficult to pinpoint my ovulation. I've had brownish pink spotting for 4 or 5 days now. It arrived a day before my period was due. It definitely resembles ewcm. I have no symptoms other the being tired and lower back pains. Could this be implantation bleeding? Or possibly late ovulation? Has anyone experienced this before? Tyia
