Clomid? Question please

So I've been trying to conceive about 6 months now and I keep hearing clomid works wonders. Is that something only my dr can proscrib to me? How do I go about that? Do I have to be trying for a longer amount of time?

I told my doctor I had been trying for a year (even though it was actually a little less) she gave me a three month prescription at 50mg and I got pregnant the second month of taking it. If you don't mind fibbing you can get it now most likely.

If you are under 35 and don't have any sort of ovulatory problems then most doctors will want you to have been trying for at least a year before hey will start any sort of fertility treatments. It can take healthy couple with no problems up to a year to conceive.
